Go on then, I'll have a go. 1. KLP, he tried hard 2. Docherty, he tried hard too 3. Coyle, in the end tried a bit too hard
1. Doc 2 Elder 3 Coyle (but naive with 2nd yellow). Feel sorry for Doc and certain others, working their rocks off trying to compensate for a set up that isn't working and doesn't suit.
Eaves for a superbly taken goal KLP for setting it up and working hard off scraps Docherty for a Duracell performance despite far too many misplaced passes
Docherty - worked hard , always available for the ball and looked motivated. Coyle - showed plenty of effort and tried hard to get Wilkes into play football mode . Eaves - he did score a goal . At 75 minutes I would have snapped your hand off for a point , So well done City .
How anyone can mention Coyle on this thread is beyond me. Hardly a captain’s performance. At least now the manager has three matches to put someone with a bit of ability in at RB.
1. Docherty - worked his bollocks off all game and had to play as the only midfielder for the latter stages of the game 2. KLP - also worked his bollocks off and not being as sulky and got a good assist 3. Eaves - well-taken goal Cannon looked decent and Moncur had some nice touches but neither created as much as I'd want them to. Coyle had an average performance but worked hard until sent off. Greaves looked much more mature and composed tonight than so far this season.
