    One of my wifes friends suggested she went with me and made it a dirty weekend away in a cheap Blackpool B&B... thats the friend not my wife..
    Thats got me off that one!
    Of course I'd already declined the polite offer!

    Promised my eight year old I would treat him to his first away game (of his choice ) this season . Guess which one he picked ?. Hotel booked wife and younger brother tagging along to make a weekend of it . Can't do the Friday due to kids at school I,m at work and the hotel fully booked .
    Never mind it could be worse I could be a fat middle aged bloke with high blood pressure (just checked in the mirror and hey guess what ?).West Ham last game of the season it is then .

    Unbelievable( said in AP stylee).

    I only do around four away games a season( part time plastic) and that was going to be one of them.

    Back to the war room to try and get another date sorted that the Fuhrer will authorise.

    looks like a night in bristol the week before instead, thats a better night out anyway, only wanted blackpool as hadnt done it for a few years..

    The away game at Blackpool was also on Sky the season we got promoted to the PL - seem to recall we lost 2-1 early in that season when BBB scored in the nteenth min of added time after Caleb Folan took a bad blow to the head

    Hopefully a good omen!

    That game on TV were Folan got KO'd was the end of Folan.
    Up to the KO he looked like a cheaper version of Thierry Henry, thought we'd got a good deal.
    After that he was average at best.
