The next three games are interesting, Blackpool getting really tested at the moment, against Gerrad's Huddersfield (who haven"t lost since we murdered them), Birmingham licking their wounds after a Barnsley mauling...and then the dreaded tractor boys, we should have too much for them this time. Probably fearing Ipswich more.

Blackpool 1 Huddersfield 2 (pool keeper looking dodgy)!

No easy games for us if Malky insists on 4-5-1 formation that clearly doesn't work.

Blackpool 1-3 down, about to bring on Matt Phillips, wouldn't get into our side now. Maybe take him on a free, but only if they throw Ince in as we'll. Up to you Ollie!

Shows how competative this league is.

Grayson doing a good job having sold his star striker.

From what I've seen up till now, this is a very poor Championship. Watching in the flesh at the CCS, I couldn't believe how bad Wolves and Leeds sides were - in all honesty I thought they were dreadful. I thought Huddersfield were half decent though.

We only have ourselves to blame for the two deafeats on the road. Bristol was just a nightmare performance from us, and Palace were almost invited to take the three points.

The way it's gone so far, it would only take a couple of clubs to get their act together pretty early and they could pull a huge gap on the rest.

Sewing up the auto positions before the New Year is all but impossible, but points in the bin during the first half will cover for the inevitable bad patch that every team goes through. This side is capable of taking apart any of this year's opposition and that includes the next three games.

I fancy us to beat Blackpool and Brum, but although Ipswich are on their kness, we always struggle across there - a point would be a good return (as long as Malky doesn't play for it from the start!)

    1. We didn't murder Huddersfield, we sneaked a late winner. They had the better chances and Marshy kept us in the game. It will be interesting to see how their season evolves. They don't have the strength in depth Southampton had but have acquired big bucks for Rhodes and could buy in some quality in January. They also have a strong team ethic.
    2. Blackpool and Birmingham will want to come back hard after their setbacks. More likely with Blackpool as Ollie will give them hell for a couple of days before rebuilding their confidence ahead of their visit to us.
    3. Birmingham will be feeling terrible and want to get back on track. Whether they have the players and manager to do that I doubt and is the most likely source of 3 points.
    4. Ipswich will feel they can beat us as they usually do at their place. However, Jewell is under pressure and if they have 2 poor results before us could be ripe for the taking assuming MM plays to our strengths.

I will be happy with 7 points from the next 3 games and 6 would not be a disaster with everyone taking points off each other.
