What a team he has put together, absolutely fantastic performance. If Blackpool can produce year after year then surley city can, I said at the beginning I fancy Blackpool to go back up,what a.credit they are. Holloway has done wonders up there. The final between wham and the seasides what a cracking game to look forward to.
well lets hope west ham win, imagine having the likes of west ham Birmingham Cardiff wolves Blackburn Bolton charlton Leeds Middlesbrough etc dear god del has got some work to do
just looked at the league and i forgot to mention the likes of, the sheffield clubs, hull brighton leicester forrest blackpool, where the bloody hell are we going to finish
Sorry Shiny but I'd LOVE Blackpool to go up. I actually like Ollie very much and I see him as a good advert for Bristol. He has a Bristol humour and I wish him all the best.
I don't really care who get's promoted,I think Holloway is a big egotistical prat, very disrespectful to BCFC and he can get stuffed but a good manager in his own right,Big Sam full of his own ego but he has got our traitor Nicky Maynard,I hope Sam and Nicky stuff Hollowhead right up the jacksy... No offence to fellow City fans but I can't stand the rebranded bald headed twat......
Holloway a good manager? Is that the same Holloway the gas fans were baying for his blood and couldn't get him out of their club quick enough..
Some but not all of us wanted him out. A lot of the frustration that season was because of our disappointing slide just when it mattered the most after we'd been riding high. And it was over 11 years ago! No, Ollie has developed into a very good manager and motivator - and he's a great bloke. Had to be a Gashead really, couldn't have been a Ted with those attributes
Yes...and I agree...with us he was naive, full of himself and not ready for managership. He should have worked alongside an experienced manager, like Ward. But he has learnt along the way and is now a top manager.
Holloway is legendary but Wiz you are wrong about him. He has a lot of good things to say about your shower of ****e which makes me want to vomit sometimes, it is that cringy.
Wiz - I think you'll find that Olly happens to be a City fan - who just happens to have played and managed the Gas. A bit like Marcus Stewart who is a City fan through and through but made his name on the dark side.
You mean watch Leeds go under when Warnock gets no backing Gunna be hard for all teams next year, you'd think that Blackburn would do a Newcastle, but its unpredictable until you see what players they (and others) will lose.
hard to take I know, but he talks about us more than you're tiny club these days.. Oh such nice stuff iswell.. ollie is a ****head
Chris-gashead - I wasn't WUMming with my suggestion that Olly is a City fan - or Marcus Stewart either. Marcus Stewart and Marcus Browning both attended a certain south Bristol school where I have a very, very reliable (family) contact. They both lived and breathed City. At the time (late-1980's) we were only recruiting from north of the border (Joe Jordan) so the local lads didn't get a look-in. However, a certain John Ward did the opposite for the Gas - recruiting from the local area. The certain family member had JWs contact number because they were who he contacted in order to arrange a scouting visit. That person informed me - admittedly via another source - that Ollies family were City through-and-through, so it isn't ridiculous to assume that he too has some sympathies towards the red side.
