Manager Sacked What is happening up there is a bloody disgrace! Can't someone kick those owners out of the club?
You wouldn't want to be applying for that job now would you ? Career expectancy of a couple of months max and then the dole. Feel sorry for Appleton - the club really is in the ****. Jordan Rhodes anyone ?
Who is going to take that in now though? McDermott won't. Di Canio would be incredible. He wouldn't last the week.
You can still have your moment in the sun with a beautifully crafted poem Edit - I see you already have, that's why I beat you to it, my post took no creativity <alugh>
Never have liked Blackburn going back to when they 'bought' the EPL title with Jack Walker's money. They are a small town club with a stadium far too big for their miniscule support
Like Robbie would go there ! Turns down Liverpool but goes to Blackburn "Revolving Door" Rovers - yeah right !
I have no sympathy for Appleton, because he didn't show any of his clubs before he left much loyalty, so I daresay he had it coming. As for Venky's I have even less than no sympathy for them; they had Big Sam keeping them up in the Premier League very comfortably and got rid of him for no apparently reason. Now Big Sam is keeping West Ham up after winning promotion in his first season (Even if he isn't so popular there) and Blackburn are not so far off relegation themselves!
Amazes me, thank the lord we have Delia. I would be so pissed off if I was a Blackburn fan, I actually think Michael Appleton is a good manager, his loyalty can be questioned I agree, but they won't get anyone better then him in that poisoned chalice of a job. I highly doubt Di Canio will go there with that sort of board. I feel for Blackburn fans.
Similar to Chelski but without the massive wads of cash for the new man to squander before being sacked regardless of whether he won the clubs only Champions League Trophy. that said there will be a queue of people wishing to take over - nice three year contract where you'll probably only have to work 6 months or so before being shown the door with a nice big cheque to help ease the move to your next job.
