This game we should expect to win regardless of what our Alehouse manager puts out on the pitch. Wolves is the next yardstick...
It's a game vs a side on the level of Sunderland, so Newcastle will win, but it won't matter long term. This is the only thing left so I'm hoping we can do a Wigan
I agree and disagree. I agree that it isn’t going to be easy but disagree that it will be like a cup final for Blackburn.
.....as then the Venkys came along. We'll win this, start Laecelles, Krafth, Karius, Willock, Burn and Barnes.
Just play our best 11 surely? We won't win anything even doing that more than likely , but dont use **** players and add another year on the 69 because we've got wolves next week.
Blackburn ain't all that, around the bottom of the Championship. As it's only 3 after after our last game, we could due with resting a few.
I would still be fairly confident with those players in the team, 3 days after the last game and the other players are going to be pretty knackered.
Howe - "Saka skinned Tino for the 3rd goal... Hopefully now you all understand why he'll be dropped for rest of season for Burn".
If Burn played for 70 mins in that game, he'd have been ripped to shreds too. But throwing young players to the dogs is something we are specialists at. You'll be getting drunken mouth breathers muttering that Tino isn't good enough now.
Tino looked a lot better than Burn I agree. I'm thinking Howes logic may be that once Willock is back, Burn will have more cover and his weaknesses wont be exploited as easily, and his strength will prevail more. Miley, as much as he has skill and passing ability has no physical presence. He has no pace or defensive quality, so he leaves a gap in our midfield defensively, which is of course not his fault as he's only a 17 year old.
