What’s wrong with Massengo? , is he not on the bus or something? it was a mistake last week playing Williams and James when neither fully match fit & yet he’s done the same again. Is anyone else losing patience with our leader? Call me pessimistic, but I see Williams coming off injured today.
Well we have the height at the back so no excuses from set plays imo.. don’t understand leaving Massengo out again, sends a message he maybe better off elsewhere.. 12 mins in and it looks fairly even
he said only really got interest in players might be in the squad for next season? ! so likely getting money for Vyner /taylor-moore ... Bakinson Will save about £10k a week on wages maybe get £6m in fee's so buy another player
Lunge from Scott earns him a yellow card. Naff game, lots of long balls, we tend to give away possession very easily.
A fairly quiet first half and 0-0 sounds just about right. Overall we look OK and are still in with a chance of points but need to stay focused.
Scott is having a mare, every part of his game is poor so far, needless booking, needs replacing with Massengo. Semenyo has been so wasteful and his decision making has been poor so far. Williams and James started off well but both drifted out of the game. Weimann is leaving the dangerous Khadra to Cundy far too often. But still in the game.
We go from a serious chance with a 2 on 1 to falling apart at the back and looking like our normal selves.
Agree, not Scotts best game, poor distribution and a few lunges which he has to be careful of being on yellow card. Real scrappy game and no player looking special.. Apart from Semenyo’s miss kicked chance in first half, Blackburns had better chances with good saves from Bents. Massengo does need to come on but we need to be better keeping possession and start to create more..
As I said Williams and James have gone back into their shells after a bright start, we look as though we have surrendered midfield.
