I'm going for a hard fought 2-1 to city-goal scorers for us Baldock and Stead. This will truly show us where we are and how far we have come in 12 months. I hope we get a big crowd the goals are flowing at the gate. Should be a cracker.
3-2 City this is based on our ability to score goals at home (so far so good) and Blackburns ability to reply to goals scored against i.e Sh***y Leeds game Scorers: Woooooooolford and whoever gets stuck into em up the other end, and shoots straight unless its a banana shot that is......... the 12th man will help edge it for us ;0)
Just taken this from the Blackburn board they would be happy with a mid table finish. http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/148825-First-season-in-the-Championship
Don't let us get too carried away on the significance of this single game when a whole season lies ahead of us. As we get further in to the schedule our squad will gel, as indeed others will, and our performances will be based on overall team quality going forward. Blackburn were a team that enjoyed many years in the Premiership but times have changed along with their squad and now they have to adjust to life in the lower league in whatever way they deem necessary. Does that automatically mean they are a better team than us, well the proof will be on show at Ashton Gate this Saturday. Don't be too disappointed if the result doesn't go our way on Saturday because there's along way to go in our season. Howver I want to see our unbeaten home to still be intact at 5:45 pm this weekend and I'm going for a 2-1 City win in front of 15850 fans with Baldock getting both goals.
No expert, discussing tactics bores me, but I expect Davies to start ahead of Baldock as he went missing at Oakwell.
Now that is concerning to say the least. I think class is permanent he will start and score i'm sure he will be on the team sheet.
I'm hoping for a win and guess some blackburn fans wouldnt mind us getting a big win over them if it lead to them getting a new manager. I'm hoping Taylor is returned to the team as think he was the key to scoring 8 in our two home games as he lead the line and pushed their defences around.
