BLACKBURN ROVERS v WATFORD Ewood Park Tuesday 13th September 2020 Kick Off: 1945 BST Blackburn plays host to Watford at Ewood Park in this Championship match. Both teams will be refreshed coming into this match after their weekend matches were postponed. The home team are currently in 7th position with 12 points while the visitors are in 6th position with 13 points. Blackburn started the season like a house on fire with three consecutive wins but have since only won only one of the next five matches with four defeats. Last season they narrowly missed out on the playoff places and they will need an urgent return to winning ways if they are to mount a challenge for promotion this time around. Blackburn biggest problem has been their poor home form with just five wins in their last 13 matches. They have lost their last two league matches at home. Watford drew their last match 1-1 away to Rotherham to continue their poor start to the season. They have won just one of their last six matches across all competition with three draws and two losses. Watford hopes of a swift return to the Premier League are looking unlikely unless they start winning. Despite their poor start to the season they are still in the playoff places and only four points behind the leaders Sheffield United. Watford will be confident coming into this match as they are unbeaten in their last five matches against Blackburn, winning the last three. TEAM NEWS: Defender Hassane Kamara is a doubt for Watford’s trip to Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night (September 13, 7.45pm KO), after being forced off against Rotherham United last time out with a muscle strain. Ken Sema was similarly replaced in the second half of that match in South Yorkshire, and has been nursing a slight groin strain for the last couple of weeks, but it is hoped the Sweden international will be available at Ewood Park. Elsewhere, club captain Tom Cleverley is back in training but is still not ready to be part of the squad after a calf problem. The 33-year-old has been absent since notching the winner against Burnley last month. Imrân Louza remains sidelined as he continues his recovery from knee surgery at the end of last season. The Moroccan midfielder is making good progress, and has joined in with the main squad in some elements of their work out on the grass, but he is still a few weeks away from resuming full training. Meanwhile, defender Jeremy Ngakia is available for the Blackburn game. The 22-year-old is yet to feature this season due to a back injury, but having returned to full training he is now in contention for selection.
Nice to read that RE actually does rate Ngakia - "At the point of asking about Laird, Watford were still undecided if they needed further reinforcements in that area. However, the more time Edwards spent working with Jeremy Ngakia, the more he was convinced there was no need. Consequently, the early enquiry about Laird was not followed up." It seems extraordinary that our multi-million valued player hardly gets a mention. If he is to achieve his hoped for selling price then he needs to get some game time. Perhaps tonight will be the night.
I presume Sarr is fit .. They don’t seem very confident on the Blackburn site. https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36342-v-watford-h-13922-possibly…/page/3/

Not really. My wife just asked why I was putting my hearing aids in - stumped her by saying I couldn't hear the minutes silence for the queen...
Perfect picture for me - sound is good although the crowd noise is muffled. Bachmann earning his salary again - Blackburn having plenty of shots...
