Blackburn manager Michael Appleton has reduced options in central midfield for the Championship clash with Leeds on Saturday. Recent signing Lee Williamson sustained an ankle injury during Tuesday night's 2-0 defeat to Hull and is facing the prospect of around six weeks on the sidelines. Dickson Etuhu returned from a lengthy knee injury absence in Monday's reserve game against Sunderland but suffered a setback and could be out for another month depending on scan results. Might just be that Appleton played hoof-ball against us as he saw it as the only way he'd have a chance of getting anything out of the game, it was quite a tragic game-plan though.
Oh mate, I agree. Very poor tactics on Tuesday night but to be honest we've not played like that under Appleton before I guess it was some petty attempt to exploit your tactics and way of football.
I might have to say we play hoof ball after watching yesterdays appalling match with Leeds, absolute horrible game to watch.
