Blackburn Rovers have had a bid rejected for Dundee United striker David Goodwillie. STV understands Blackburn's offer was in the region of £1.8 million, still £200,000 short of the £2 million valuation Dundee United have put on the player. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scotti...lackburn-rovers-fail-in-david-goodwillie-bid/ It's their first bid but with the sort of wages they can offer, if they stump up the extra 200k I can't see Goodwillie heading to Rangers. Do you want him at Ibrox? Or is £2m too steep? Or is he just not right for Rangers?
Blackburn where a baw hair from the 1st division or championship whatever you want to call it not sure I'd opt for them over Rangers in his shoes but I guess money talks.
I think Blackburn will be relegated this year - so not sure its a wise move. But suppose money and perhaps a shop window for a move next year if they are relgated ala fletcher?
Goodewille would be an ideal character for Rangers. After all Rangers signed up Diouf last season and he would belong to the same type of character as Goodewille.
Don't ever get chance to go on the computer, if the mrs aint shopping she's watching US reality shows Hows things with you?
Goodwillie's agent has just said he is off to have talks with Blackburn, so it certainly isn't dead in the water.
