31st of December, New Years eve, otherwise known as 'Black Monday'. On this evening most of the teams with a crappy season get rid of their coaches and general managers on this day. Not exactly a happy holiday gift but thats the tough world of sports. So with 24 hours to go the main question is: who is going to get canned? This years coaches targetted: Eagles Andy Reid Jets Rex Ryan or Tannenbaum Titans Mike Munchak Cardinals Ken Wisenhunt and Offensive coach Mike Miller Bills Chan Gaily Jaguars Mike Mularky Offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski Oakland Raiders Dennis Allen, Jason Tarver, Greg Knapp and Frank Pollack Panthers, someone's is going to get it, has to be Browns, could be anyone Chiefs: better to fire everybody, it's just a mess In 24 hours, we will know why gets another year and who doesn't
And just as I wrote this we already got the first head coach fired: Andy Reid is gone! Not really a surprise, the last couple of weeks the air was heavy with speculation about Reid's position being vacant in 2013, but now it's official. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000118990/article/andy-reid-out-as-philadelphia-eagles-coach
Update: Cardinals staff meet with the club's president this morning, Wisenhunt and Graves may be out http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000119902/article/ken-whisenhunt-to-meet-with-arizona-cardinals-monday

I love Black Monday. Always nice to see how fans react to it - some with screams of instability, others with elation at finally being free of their burden. People were dancing in the streets of Indianapolis this time last year.
Bye bye Andy, best of luck but I wont miss you very much I'm afraid! *EDIT* Also, Lovie Smith is gone.
