Chelsea must be one of the unluckiest teams when signing big money strikers. I have followed Chelsea for years & I can remember Crespo, Sutton, Fleck, Casiraghi (injury) & now Torres all struggled to recreate their previous club form. ( Let's hope Torres eventually bucks this trend).
Kezman, Shevchenko too. Crespo to be fair was class for us but didn't settle in England and was part of a rotation policy meaning he didn't play as often as he otherwise might.
Crespo was good. Mutu you could add but Kezman was a free wasn't he? You've bought well in midfield and on the wings in the past though.
