i actually think its ambition. the amount of goals we leaked from the 2 midfielders for not picking up there markers, meaning the likes of obrien were getting charged at, all because we couldnt defend as a unit. Both players are average at best. Johnson has had a good 6 months and killer well, has 6 good games a season. But i cant see why we cant replace for 2 better players that would suit our attacking play

I`ve thought that about this parity stance. He doesn`t have any international honours even at U-21, unlike his midfield compadres Howson, Kilkenny, Gradel and Snod so they should be on more than him anyway?

They were no more than squad players last season, we need player who can walk into the first team, they were bit players. Out with the crap in with the new. Saying that i still wish them both all the best, they were good division 1 players, we now need good championship players. Yes Johnson did play well SINCE xmas but he was playing for himself. if he had played crap no one would be interested in him from the Prem, Mind you if he signs for Norwich he will be back where he belongs next year, in the championship HA HA HA.

O'Brien will soon be on a more 'spendthrift' contract from 1st July. Not sure what that will be but it will be a lot less than the one we are currently having to meet.
Well I know for def what he is on now so that would be quite a reduction, sure he can afford it though! Love the way 8-9k a week seems a low amount, talk about a fantasy world!
