Well its here, final day of the season and thank god we can sit back and enjoy it. Not for us that stomach churning last day hell that the fans of Wigan,Wolves,Blackpool, Blackburn and Birmingham will be feeling, or indeed the hurt and anger the West Hams fans will suffer.

It really is bitter sweet today, usualy its bitter, no more footy for a few weeks, no more match day thrills and excitement, no more anticipation, guessing the team, talking tactics.

TBH this year its sweet, after the past few months it will be good to miss the weekly kick in the bollocks, the after match depression, the doom and gloom, the never ending hamstring announcement, the monotonous proclamation that we expect to see a reaction, the this week we will do it followed by oh **** we didn’t.

How good to look forward to the daily scan of the gossip columns, SSN, Big Chris and the never ending list of players who a very good source knows we are signing.

The 24 hour watch at Newcastle airport and hotels to catch the latest big name spotted scanning estate agents windows and making their way to the AoL for talks.

The thrilling sight of wee Davy Craig outside the training ground ready to announce who is coming in.

The oh **** not him followed by the plea of anyone got a youtube clip and he will take us to the next level.

The pre season tour announcements, are you going, whats the best way to get there, should be a great few days away.

Then before you know it it will be, fixture list out and Team for Saturday threads.

I enjoyed the break, great to be back.

You could go and watch Durham play cricket. They are quite good and currently stand 3rd in the county championship

That means your not drinking enough while you watch it, I quite enjoy it you can go to the bar and come back with a full round and you haven't missed any of the 'action' It's a good sport to watch and unwind after a hard week.
