Just opened up my Golf Shop at a club quite near to Sunderland. Course is closed so the members come into the shop to have a bit crack and that. Most of them are obviously Mackems. One of them has just said we have been very lucky with injuries this year and if they had beena bit luckier with injuries they would be above us in the table.!! He was being serious by the way!! Even his mates laughed him out of my shop!! Deluded does not even come close to describing their mindset!
Well if his mates laughed him out of the shop, it's probably not fair to describe it as "their" mindset
To be fair mate let's not tar them all with the same brush. You'll note a canny few on here who (as hard as it may have been) have been consistently gracious with their praise. I agree though that the pillock in your shop was bitter as hell though... That's his problem to live with.
