As a newbie on here (when do I stop being a newbie lol) I'd love to know
    A. When was your first trip to SB ,
    B. Why did you decide on supporting Chelsea, and
    C. Special memory /game/time etc.

A & B I became a Chelsea supporter in 1968/69, my sister had started dating a fella who was a supporter, I tagged along fell in love with his mate and we continued to go to all home matches from then until we moved house, and little ones came along and 'stole' all our spare money :emoticon-0105-wink:

    C. Funniest memory , queuing up to purchase tickets (as we did way back back then) when I was about 8 months pregnant , only to be told as we went to pay that I was way too big to get through the turnstiles, so I had to shufty backwards, as it was a really narrow space and people all waiting behind us, and they had to escort me around through some very large metal double gates, where I think the players drove their cars through to car park. Good job I wasn't easily embarassed.

Years later I long to be able to get to see another game, but purchasing tickets is nigh on impossible for me.

Apologies if this has been done before , if so just ignore me

First trip to SB was in the 94/95 season v Southapmton. It was an evening KO and I'd travelled from South Wales with my grandfather only for the game to be called off an hour before kick off because of heavy rain!

My first actual game was against Wimbledon in the 96/97 season when we lost 4-2! Great start!

Started supporting Chelsea in '92 when I was 8, mainly due to the rest of my family supporting the blues.

Best memory has got to be when we won the league against Wigan, such a great atmosphere!

Been having ups and downs with CFC for far too many years!

As I head into late middle age my greatest moment is Droggies wonderful sign off. That was a magic moment that lifted the roof in our house - my wife was hysterical and I do mean hysterical; screaming, crying and running around the patio like a loon. Terrific moment!

I was talked into going along with a childhood friend of mine who was already a Blue. It was Chelsea v Everton-April 1959--and when we went through the turnstile and up the steps in the old SB it took my breath away! They still had the old greyhound racing track round the pitch! Greaves, Brabrook, Blunstone et al. I never missed a game from that point until 1973--my wedding day!

There was no finer moment than when Drogs stuck in the penalty in his last game for us! It will never be matched! I must say until that point being in Athens to watch us beat , the unbeatable Real Madrid in the CWP in 1970 will always be a blinding memory!

    A. 1967.
    B. Just loved the kings road crew.
    C. When Mickey Droy scored and did about 3 laps of the pitch, more than he had run in the 67 minutes before it.

    A. 1984, year of birth.
    B. Not sure of the year, think around '93/94
    C. My old man is a Chelsea fan, didn't have a lot of choice but always felt proud to support them.
    D. Too many to mention frankly, '97 FA Cup final and Bolton '05 are my personal favourites and of course Drogs' perfect parting gift but I'll always treasure the first FA Cup win I saw and first League title I saw.

A: 1996 (was born in 1994 so gimme a break!)
B: Well my old man is an avid Chelsea fan and he took me at the age of 2 on his shoulders in the Shed... I really got the bug at the last game at the old Wembley... Was there at the age of 6 face painted and all...
C: Obviously Munich was amazing but for me it was my first away match which was Scarborough. Went with my Dad and it was a great day out. But my first away game with a mate was Preston which was awesome!
