Like i said in the title. It's a bit of fun, what would you like to see if real life was like Fifa 12? - Budget of £100M (Excluding player sales) to spend on transfer fees. (I WILL USE FIFA 12 to determine transfer fees) - Include players who you would ship out, and estimate how much wages they will fee up and estimate the amount of dish you'll get for them. - Tell me your new DOF. - Tell me your new Manager. - Tell me your new Formation. - What players would you bring in. Again, estimate what the transfer fee would be, and how much wages would they take. - What 5 young players currently in the reserves or U18's would you bring into the first team. Right i'll start us off. New DOF - Txiki Begiristain New Manager - Andre Villas Boas Formation - 4-2-3-1 New Players in - CDM - Yann Mâ Vila - Currently at Stade Rennes - 21 Years old - Transfer value £20,500,000m (Fifa 12 remember) LM - Muniain - Currently at Athletic Bilbao - 18 Years old - Transfer value £19,500,000m RM - Nicolas Gaitan - Currently at SL Benfica - 23 Years old - Transfer value £18,000,000m ST - Loic Remy - Currently at Olympique Marseille - 24 Years old - Transfer value £18,500,000m LB - Aly Cissokho - Currently at Lyon - 23 Years old - Transfer value £5,500,000m (As we need a backup for enrique) Total spend of £82,000,000m. Players out LM - Stewart Downing - I imagine we could possibly get around £8-12m for him, i'll say £8m to make it a definitive number RW - Maxi Rodriguez - Wouldn't mind him staying but just isn't satisfied not playing often - Released as is at end of contract CM - Spearing - I'll play it safe and say £4m, i reckon we could sell him for about £6m though. LB - Aurelio - released. Total income of £12,000,000m Total net spend of £70,000,000m Line up - GK Reina RB - Johnson CB - Skrtel CB - Agger LB - Enrique RDM - Lucas LDM - M'Vila RW - Gaitan CAM - Remy LW - Munain ST - Suarez Young guns to bring through - Sterling, Suso, Silva, Coady, Morgan. You're turn bitches!
Line up - GK Reina RB - Johnson CB - Skrtel CB - Agger LB - Enrique DM - Lucas CM - Gerrard/Moutinho RW - Downing/New Signing? CAM - Suarez LW - Bellamy/Sterling ST - Carroll Youngsters I think are capable of stepping up to the squad Robinson, Coady, Sterling.
Wouldn't feel comfortable with Bellamy being first choice left wing, he's too injury prone and Sterling isn't adequate backup, yet. As for Downing on the right, no, just no. Thanks for the feedback though!
You have a point with Bellamy but Downing can also play there so all three? And as far as Downing on the right goes, that's where he has had his best games for us. The feedback thing seemed to be taking the piss out of me????
With the right manager to build his confidence and with the right role, Downing is a good player. Great left foot, fairly pacey and can take on a man on the outside. See his last year at Villa as evidence or the Carling cup final as one of his few good games this year. For whatever reason, he was poor for us mostly, but there's a good player in there somewhere - don't write him off yet as the media seem to love doing. Get behind him and see what his second year turns up
I suppose so. And no i am genuinely thankful for the feedback, it's always good to see what other people think.
My biggest problem with Downing is his seeming resistance to taking players on. I mean it's ok cutting back when he plays on the right, as he cuts onto his stronger foot, but when he does it on the left side, the ball just ends up with a cm or cb.
Like I said, with a manager who can help bring that attacking side out of him, give him some confidence to take a man on even if it doesn't work out, we could really see him do a useful job for us next year. There's a good player in there waiting to get out, saw it before, just not often enough in a red shirt.
What about Adam? Do we sell him or clean slate for him too? I'd like to clean slate him on the condition he never plays without Lucas!
Yeah i'd like to see Adam given one more season. Mainly because even when he was playing poorly (Every game with out Lucas) he gave his all, and it's a shame Lucas was injured as the two of them together were a good match. Lucas gave him the chance to go forward and play and not worry about his defensive responsibilities.
Ditto, Although towards the end of his appearances i was pulling my hair out, he didnt hide & didnt shirk responsibilty....he was trying too hard if anything ! I'd like to see a manager tell him to play to his limitations and concentrate on keeping the ball moving as oppossed to trying to dribble through 3 players. I have the feeling he has got the neccesary skills in his lock up to be a QB style CM he just needs a clear defined role and to play to his limitaions as I said previously. Downing aswell can kick on once he gets some confidance. Ironically alhough Andy Carroll picked up his game towards the end of the season. His predicament is the one that scares me the most. Is he right for Liverpool ? Can Liverpool play to his strengths ? Its like a marriage of convienience trying to shoe horn the 2 differing styles together. I think we will comprimise on both and not get the full benefits of either ...if you know what I mean.
to the OP question. 1. I can't disagree with the DoF or manager really. 2. players bought... honestly i think 6. I'd move heaven and earth to get: 1. Martinez. 2. Cavani 3. Hazard and if there was anything left at all i'd look for another cm, a cb and an lb.. i'm easy as to whom the scouts say they are. When i say heaven and earth i mean pay city money and city wages. Finally IMO I'd probabaly try to play a 4-2-3-1 with suarez playing from the right as he loves that channel.
Jesus fella, never heard of porn? Go crack one off over at youjizz, then you will realize that having "fun" is **** all to do with this ****e!
