Are we not going to be satisfied until Malky has gone? Those old enough on this forum have waited decades for a Cardiff City side to be in it's current position, and it's self destruct time again!<cool>

After Malky Mackay has endured weeks of speculation surrounding his position since the sacking of right hand man Iain Moody, Turkish manager Yilmaz Vural has tonight been linked with

Out-of-work Turkish manager Yilmaz Vural is tonight being touted by sources on the continent as a replacement for Malky Mackay at Cardiff City.

The much travelled 60-year-old , who resigned from Elazigspor at the end of last season, has managed most of the top clus in his homeland and has apparently claimed the Premier League outfit have been in touch.

He told turkish-football.com "It wouldn't be right for me to say anything while the club in mention [Cardiff City] have a manager but we have been in contact" Vural said.

"Also I have been approached by two clubs in the lower league, it's a case of waiting now."

The latest developments follow an article in the Daily Mail which linked Vural with a move to the UK.

"Everyone in the world looks up to the Premier League and around the world everyone tries to take something from English football," Vural said speaking to the Daily Mail.

"It is the professional game at its highest. Everyone is in love with it and in Turkey we are in love with it."

The Bluebirds' Turkish Cypriot chairman Mehmet Dalman is reported to have met with Vural according to the Turkish press.

Vural is also being linked with League One Sheffield United, who have a Turkish director.

Another club the 60-year-old is understood to have received interest from is League Two strugglers Portsmouth.

So it's either Premier League club Cardiff City or the option of League One Blades or League Two Pompey - no choice then.........<laugh><laugh>

Not sure about that remote - Lebanon is a hell of a lot nearer Turkey than Malaysia.

Perhaps it's Sam who's really behind it all along with the fan's leaders in a bid to regain control......<whistle>

This is awful if it's true! We should be enjoying the Premiership with one of the best managers we've had in a long time not worrying about this ****e!!

I wish the crap WoL would start supporting Cardiff City instead of stirring it up at every opportunity.

As for this guy, watch the video on Wol. What a clown, totally unprofessional.

What has he ever won? I'll give you a clue - the Irishman thought it was a stately home - f**k all.

Managed 22 clubs in Turkey but never managed a top one (despite what WoL say - he has never been with Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe or Galatasaray) and only knows about the Prem from what he has seen in the media.

I cannot believe we would be talking to such an abject wan%er. If Dalman or Sam think he is suitable for us then they want their heads read.

Is it April Fools' Day? I cannot believe anyone would take this seriously.

Am I right in thinking this story originated in the Daily Fail? I think all the other rags have just picked up on that and ran with it.

Seems this has gone Vural.
Leg 1 or leg 2 then, thanks to the media for keeping us a breast of things.

This is all just nonsense, you will see these reports down Caroline street tonight, in the bin with the rest of the chip paper.
