    CAPITAL ONE CUP SECOND ROUND
Venue: St Andrew's Date: Wednesday, 27 August
    Match Appointments:
    Referee: DARREN BOND
Assistants: Amy Fearn and Peter Gooch
    Fourth Official: Christopher Sarginson

    Birmingham Team News

Clark is spotty little **** who is without Matt Green and Gavin Gunning (both knee) while Andrew Shinnie (back) is still unavailable.

    Sunderland Team News

Sunderland boss Gus Poyet will make changes for Wednesday night's Capital One second-round trip to Birmingham.

Poyet is likely to hand several of his summer signings a chance at St Andrews with keeper Costel Pantilimon, defender Billy Jones, who has shaken off a hamstring problem, and midfielder Jordi Gomez in line to play as he shuffles his pack. Jozy Altidore could win his first start of the season.

However, he intends to retain the bulk of the side which drew 1-1 with Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Sunday - a game winger Adam Johnson missed because of illness - with only midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini (groin) unavailable through injury.

    Match Facts

    Head to Head
    • Birmingham's last defeat to Sunderland at home came in an FA Cup replay in February 2004 - they have won three and drawn two since.
    • The only previous League Cup tie between the two sides came in the third round n 2009-10, with the Black Cats running out 2-0 winners at the Stadium of Light.

    Birmingham
    • Birmingham have been eliminated just once in their last 11 League Cup games at home, losing to Stoke City on penalties in the fourth round last season.

    Sunderland
    • Sunderland have made it through to the third round in five of the last six seasons, losing to Brighton & Hove Albion at this stage in 2011 where Steve Bruce played a 4-6-0 and ate the seats in the dug out.

    Prediction for the team-sheet anyone?

Personally, I'd like to see a good win with our best 11, then do the same at QPR.

    3-0 the lads.

highly unlikely that you find a link as the match hasn't been listed or scheduled to be shown on any foreign or domestic tv channel :

    http://liveonsat.com/today.php?star...t_yyyy=2014&end_dd=26&end_mm=08&end_yyyy=2014

possibly a satellite live feed could be uplinked to be broadcast for instance for the Sunderland AFC website

but you'd need a motorised satellite dish and a decoding satellite receiver and check here :
    http://www.satelliweb.com/?section=livef&langue=en

then its best to check just before the match starts

Excited about this one, I am joining to prawn sandwich brigade, one of my suppliers has an exec box so I am going suited and booted. If you see some nutter getting escorted out it will probably be me. I am guessing everyone else in the box will be Blues fans and might take exception to my celebrations when we spank them!!!!

most football links via the net are original broadcast to the foreign TV companies they are subsequently 'hacked' and distributed via the internet - so the first link I posted above gives all the football fixtures being shown in the different countries, (Sunderland is not listed for today)

The second link gives live broadcast of newsfeeds that are being shown live (uploaded) around the world- I have in the past watch live sports through my motorised satellite dish by looking at that the relevant info on that website and pointed my satellite dish at the relevant satellite - hope that's a bit clearer

sorry my mistake <doh> lost track of the day - going back to my original post - I'm was just trying to give Funk a heads up as to finding live football 'web streams' as you can safely say if its not listed on here: http://liveonsat.com/today.php?start...&end_yyyy=2014

then its unlikely to be streamed on the web - my posted coments got convoluted and rushed in my explanation as I was busy something else - hence I ****ed the date up too
