Last time we played Birmingham City away was also a Friday night, and ended in a 2-0 home win. Here's hoping for a different result this Friday, but they are looking semi-decent so far this year. They started the season very strongly, with three wins and two draws in their first five games, but they"ve faltered a little in September. They started the month with a home draw against Millwall, and have then lost to Watford and Preston North End, both away games. Surely they'll be hoping for a positive result as they return to St Andrew's. Their top scorer Jay Stansfield has three goals so far, with Jutkiewicz, Bacuna and Hogan each with two goals. As for us, Tuesday night was a frustrating one wasn't it. I spent most of my evening, as did Ilias Chair, looking for an obvious option in the final third, but Armstrong was all too often surrounded by opposition defenders, or being dragged to the floor so unable to receive the ball. Willock seemed pretty absent and didn't have much of an impact, and so it took a fantastic header from Dykes to rescue a point. I'm hoping that lessons will have been learnt, and maybe we'll start with Dykes, Armstrong and Chair on Friday night. Team news : From Ainsworth's pre-match interview...we've got to work on Sinclair being a bit more sneaky...pleased with Willock's performance on Tuesday, great to see him out there...not much else unless I missed it. ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Can add the crocks Laird and Tyler to the list. Think both are injured. And of course the great Dion Sanderson.
Does anyone else keep looking at the fixture to list to see where the points are coming from and then just left scratching your head with a puzzled look on the face?
I’m quite reassured the more I watch this league that apart from six or seven teams everyone is ****.
Depends what time I get the job finished....but it's a 5 1/2 hour drive back up home on a good day and I've gotta be in Fife for 8am Saturday morning. Staying in the Premier Inn at Hall Green tonight
Birmingham is a ****hole to work in....not the worst in the country, but still bad....don't normally go that far south for work, but they've made it worth my while!
Too long, you should have left already; https://www.abcboathire.com/blog/ho...ondon from Birmingham, longest canal in the UK!
like to see a few changes for this one. Rest some legs, be a bit more defensive savvy and play Kolli alongside Dykes. We'll still bloody lose
But you can get to spend another night at the Premier Inn after watching the mighty R's..... what's not to like? Edit.... Might have read your post the wrong way round..... thought the Fife job had been cancelled..... doh
