Their top scorer is Scott Hogan, on 6 goals, and then Troy Deeney on 4 goals. Their last game was a 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Blackburn, but all importantly, that loss was on the 18th of December. Their Boxing Day game vs Fulham and their last game vs Peterborough were both postponed...meaning they've had a nice two week Christmas break, whilst this will be our third game in 7 days. I know we are in the midst of unprecedented circumstances, but surely there must be a way of evening the playing field, just a bit. Anyway, let's look at it another way...maybe they have all had a nice long Christmas break, they've kicked their feet back, had a few drinks on Christmas Day, munched a few extra mince pies and that second portion of Christmas pudding looked too good to resist...why not, they weren't playing for another week. It'll all come back to haunt them...they'll spend the first 20 minutes getting back up to speed, and by then, we'll be 0-2 up, and then in the second half, their lack of match practise will kick in, and we'll score another few. Back to reality...it really doesn't seem right/fair, but life isn't fair...so we just need to get on with it. Team news and manager comments to come when on the official, others can add what they know, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Cheers Dave. Amazing that Strolls can come up with yet more who have played for both that we forgot about a couple of months ago….. Kind of looking forward to this. St Andrew’s is better than Villa Park but it’s hardly welcoming. Still deciding how to get there, train or car.
Don't know if the Covid was in their camp, though I think it was. If so that probably won't help them tomorrow, while we have looked rusty the last 2 games post Covid, and are hopefully a lot sharper tomorrow.
Long shot but does anyone know of a spare for tomorrow? preferably a spare ticket rather than a spare anything else.
I would have thought it will be 403, Ellers. That seems to be the usual Championship football channel
I got it from here, but I agree I can't see it on the tv listings https://www.skysports.com/championship-fixtures
Thanks mate. Bloody hell I have done it again! I thought it was today! I have been running around trying to find out what side we are on for a 2pm kick off. I am a pillock.
They're moving stuff around all over the place at the moment! As Col points out, there seems to be some uncertainty about Sky coverage. Internet listing suggests red button, but the TV listing seems to devote the football channel to live scores, so there's I can't say for certain which is right.
Doesn't the Sky Football motif and red button next to the game denote a red button game? Put the mouse over the red button and it says "On Sky"
