Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds travel down to Birmingham tomorrow night hoping to find their striking boots.

It is fair to say that Leeds more than matched top of the table Burnley in all departments but scoring (if the stats are to be believed), and were unlucky to leave Turf Moor empty handed.

Leeds had more possession.

Twice as many shots at goal

Five times as many corners.

What Leeds lacked was that bit of quality in the final third!

Did Burnley have an off day?

Should Leeds have got something from that game?

Noel Whelan said in his column this morning that Chris Wood needs a big money partner up front with him.

Agree?



Would you mix up the team for the Brum match?

Morning all, although Wood missed some great chances he did manage to be in the right place, he makes the opposition have to think.

I would say yes, a big money partner, give him another season.

 

Morning All. All positive. Linekers boys a big step closer to the pl this morning. Sevco in the Scottish pl next season so might be a few games worth watching there too. La liga gonna be a tight finish too so lots left in this season as well. That looks like the best coach we've had in a long time

 

Morning ristac, I'd keep Wood. As you said, he gets into the right positions.

One thing that really wound me up on Saturday is when we were attacking, we'd have one man in the box, perhaps two if we were lucky, but we'd be outnumbered by 5 or 6 opposition.

Thought we looked better with Antenucci on and partnered with Wood. If we had a strong leader in midfield could we play 442? I believe these two would score goals a plenty as a partnership.

Agree with you (other than we don't seem to currently have a plan). I don't think one or two additions are going to bridge a 20 points difference to the playoffs let alone auto slots. We may have "matched" burnley in the stats, apart from the important one, but have we forgotten Huddersfield and Brighton?

 

Disagree, I think the difference between us and Burnley is Andre Gray, Joey Barton and Ben Mee

 

Wood is not so erratic, he's always too quiet,lol.
