I said Becchio was poor at this level too. He just gets himself into positions to score tap-ins after worked play, he won't be involved in the worked play though and won't contribute to actually keeping the move going. We got rid of him at the time when we were gonna get most money for him imo
In fairness to Norwich though, he was worth a gamble surely. They got him basically for nothing so wont be any trouble loaning him back to a championship club whereas we got Morisson.cant help but wonder what McD would have done with Becchio considering useless twat Warnock even got 19 out of him in a half season
Morning ladies. Not much point in looking back at ifs and maybes. Hopefully we have turned a corner and perhaps better times lie ahead. If that is the case, and if BMD has a 3 year plan how many are going to be happy with the first season ending in a mid table finish but with the team playing a more attractive style of football? I can see today being a score draw probably 2-2. Millwall wont win and normality will be restored.
Would love to see McD being given the three years to implement his plan. However, this is Leeds and not too many managers in recent years have been afforded that sort of time. We need to be patient this time. Would still like to see more activity on the investor front to help him out as he is going to need serious help in transfer market as well
No Somma on the bench, apparently struggling with a knee issue. He really doesn't get the luck does he? Unfortunately that could be that with his contract up in summer
it's very possible that Somma just doesn't take his rehab particularly seriously. Some players are like that.
