So home fans can pay £10 for a ticket in all areas of the ground but we have to pay £20?!!

    From the OWS:

The Tigers travel to St Andrews on Thursday 3rd March (KO 7.45pm) and tickets are priced as follows:

    £20 Adults

£15 Seniors (65+) & Students in full time education

    £10 Under 19s

    £5 Under 13s

Following a change in the way we sell tickets, we can confirm that tickets for this away fixture will be available to buy as follows:

    Online

Tickets can be purchased online up until 3pm on Monday 29th February (please scroll to the bottom of this page for how to buy online). All tickets will be posted out (no collection) with a 60p postage charge.
    In Person

Tickets will be available in person from the Tiger Leisure store at the KC Stadium. Tickets (subject to availability) will be available until 12noon on Thursday 3rd March. Please have your Customer Number (and those of any other Season Card holders you are buying for) ready at the point of purchase.

    By Phone

Tickets can be purchased over the telephone until 3pm on Monday 29th February. Please have your Customer Number (and those of any other Season Card holders you are buying for) ready at the point of purchase. All tickets will be posted out (no collections) with a £2.60 transaction charge per booking.

All tickets are subject to availability. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from Friday 19th February.

Tiger Travel will be running coaches to this game, departing from the KC Stadium South Stand car park at 3pm. Seats are priced £16 per person.

Season Card Holders – How To Buy Away Tickets Online

Season Card holders can purchase one ticket per Season Card online for this fixture, but it is easy to link other Season Card holders to your account to buy on their behalf.

Simply sign in to your account and press ‘add an existing Friend or Family Member’ (you must know the Season Card holder’s unique Customer Reference Number) and simply follow the instructions.

Click here to visit our online ticketing site and to sign in to your account.
When the fixture goes on sale you must log into your account before clicking on Match Tickets as the game will only show to Season Card holders who are registered.

They are charging home fans £10 and away fans £20. Can they do that?

I understood Brum were selling all tickets for a tenner.

I'm sure they'll be exploiting a loophole but charging away support 100% more. ****s.

I was pretty certain they can't do that...

Clubs can only charge away fans the same as they're charging home fans for comparable seats, them's the rules.

Every seat in every home stand is available for £10. What are we getting that makes our seats non-comparable? A sausage train?

Having had a read through the rules I think Brum may be using this as a game they are allowed to implement as a "local promotion" .

34.2.11 Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) Matches per Season as ‘local promotion’ Matches where this Regulation shall be deemed not to apply. Clubs shall notify The League of the Matches so designated as and when they are designated.

    http://www.football-league.co.uk/global/section5.aspx

    ****s

I've still emailed the Supporter's Trust & FSF asking them to question the validity of charging away supporters prices ranging from 100% - 500% more than home supporters are paying.

"Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters"

That doesn't allow them to charge us more.

I think this bit on the end of the sentence means they can, although up to 500% more is taking the piss.

" Discounts or special promotions (in each case for one match only) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters provided always that each Club shall be permitted to designate four (4) Matches per Season as ‘local promotion’ "

Anyone had trouble booking tickets online?

Trying to book 3 but says "Unable to allocate the requested number of spaces" regardless of how many I try to book?

Does their internet not work weekends?

You can arrange to pick them up at the ticket office in Birmingham if that helps.

That's what I used to do, but the article describing the clubs inane ticketing arrangement said they were unwilling to do that anymore, probably because it meant you could pick it up in person without a charge.

So would that rule out being able to get kids interested by offering cheap tickets in schools.

The standard response I got from the FL confirmed club's may only offer four "local promotions" per season. These promotions exclude away support.

It could be a fantastic rule if it was mandatory, inclusive of all & reciprocal.

They can and they are doing regardless. Nowt being done to stop them either.

I am happy to pay £20 no matter what the home fans are having to pay.

NB. Could it be that away fans get a finger nail buffer, free drink and a soft cushion to sit on ? :emoticon-0112-wonde
