Definitely! I'd happily take Curtis Davies, Paul Caddis (with Swindons permission) and much more importantly Darren Ambrose!

Apparently Zigic is on 40-50k a week. I think we have to be realistic. Maybe our best chance is -10 poinmts which would technically lift us off the bottom.

They'd still overtake us though unless they lose loads of players

    BBC WEBSITE has it now.

    TRANSFER LATEST
Birmingham City confirm they are open to offers for any of their first-team players as they battle financial problems. The club, lying 20th in the Championship, are looking to offload a number of players to reduce their wage bill.

Maybe we could make an offer for a few points as well. £100,000 a point would be fine for all parties

The last thing any Championship club in the bottom seven or eight places should do is take any Birmingham player from them. If no-one goes from Birmingham, then they could go into administration and at present that would put them below City.

It might seem uncharitable, but let them sink is my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep getting panned for my consistent complaints about foreign ownership, but here we go again and another club is in trouble.

When will the F.A. come on board and stick with their supposed vetting of owners for being responsible and financially stable. They never look further than the end of their noses and these situations will crop up time and time again. Is there anyone who cares about our game anymore?

Yes but only those who can make absolute fortunes from the game, so

    Players
    Agents
    Foreign and domestic owners
    Top Managers

The one group that dont make money, but fund all of this craziness and have endured it, up until now, is the long suffering fans of clubs like ours, but I wonder how long people's patience will last...?

Brum are in financial trouble due to paying the high wages they do for players who have under achieved. Looking at their squad they should be challenging for promotion. If these players cannot motivate themselves to play well for a better supported and better wage playing, and higher positioned club than ours, then quite frankly I do not want any of these mercenaries here, as we do not need that right now. Plus they wouldn't come so it is largely irrelevant

What I'd rather see us do is raid their academy for any promising talent, or perhaps nab some of their coaches.

It's not a lot off their wage bill, but every little helps I guess.
