Transfer window will be virtually closed when we play Birmingham so we should know if we are going to lose any more of our top players. Equally important, the result of that game should help settle a few disputes here. While some here still believe we have a realistic chance of promotion and things are basically fine, many like me feel a lot of our recent positive results have been down to luck as much as anything else. Birmingham are one of the form teams and as such could give us a right thumping. Hopefully though, our eternal optimists are correct and we can snatch another luck win, maybe against nine men this time
I want us to win but op does make a valid point, we have 7 points from three games what would we have had not playing against 10 men for each of those? My guess would be three or four points maximum, I don't believe we would have beat Palace and we were shocking against Ipswich until the sending off. In my eyes the current 11 are not good enough to get us promoted, I am hoping I am wrong but I also feel the last few results have masked that we have a real problem with the current team. Many feel Delph for a month is the answer, I hope so and he is going to have to create a few goals because once again a transfer window is closing and we are no closer to sorting out our defence.
No I don't want to see Leeds lose. I never do, not even in the days of meaningless jot trophy games. I hope we can put in a top performance and beat Birmingham and send a message to all our supporters that perhaps things are not as poor at the club as we fear. Maybe there are fans who want us to lose games nut I'm NOT one of them? Also I'm curious where I suggested I'd be gutted if we win. Talking about adding one and one and coming up with twenty
I know exactly where you are coming from Eireleeds I don't think we have a hope in hells chance of promotion. I think the 'lucky wins' we have had after struggling against the poor teams have covered to some extent the teams and the managers inabilities, and when we face a better side, like on Tuesday, our true potential will show.... or not as the case may be. I always want us to win, but I have a bad feeling about this one... (well most of them these days...) I certainly agree Tuesday will tell us a lot about the current set up.....
