    We are opening the Capital 1 Cup against Birmingham on Wednesday. Birmingham hadn't started too well in the Championship with just 1 victory in 7 games. But then they put young Lingard on the field against Sheffield Wed. A 1 month loanee from Man U, he wen't on the pitch and scored a hattrick in the first half. He continued in second half with yet a goal. Birmingham hope to extend the loan deal of course of Lingard, who also scored four times in Man Us summer Asian tour.

    Birmingham looks like a hurdle to be passed, but be careful of their left winger :)

    Im thinking he may well be refused permition to play in the cups,especially if he looks that good
