Ryan Bird has left PFC by mutual consent, with his contract ripped up.

He has already signed for Cambridge United.

Hope that deal doesn't come back to bite us

A bit disappointed that we never really gave the lad a good run in the side but wish him well. Awfs must have given it a lot of thought.

I'm dissapointed to lose him. I thought he was never really given much of a chance. But, then again, I am a sucker for stories about guys from non-league clubs doing well in the professionals.

If he doesn't want to stay, then bye bye and good luck.

As much as I dont like to see too many players coming and going......if one does not fit the remit......then bye bye! Bird did not take to well to Awfs rotational tactics.......he wants regular first team action, fair play........but thats not what the others have signed up to, Bird going free up a place for a loan player to come in......and word is we may well have a lesser prem striker coming next month :D
