The deal is done subject to a medical. Sam Byram is not part of any dal. Let the good times roll. At last we have had some intent. Shame we had to play the cnuts from miiiiiiii first up. Looking forward to the st valentines day massacre.
Hope he proves to be as good as his reputation. When confirmed, I think that should suffice for this window. The Hock now needs to work out the starting XI when everyone's fit.
Need some more width in the squad and a few of Warnocks posse plus hunt to leave, but it does look better.
Agreed on wingers. Now we got the 2 CBs sorted out we should be more stable at the back (Hopefully). We've got just under 3 weeks to bring in 2 wingers. Would like some experience in that position could imagine we'll bring one in from Italy and hopefully one closer to home. As for the crap I can imagine that it will be the next window until we get rid of them. However I can see us releasing Kenny on the last day of this window.
He was awful for Doncaster last season - 1 goal in his last 10 games for them - was an unused sub when we played them with 3 games to go!!
sounds just what they need someone with relegation experience been scoring 1 every 4 or 5 games so may still be good for 8 goals a season
Them 8 goals could be worth millions to Leeds if it helped secure their championship status, so money well spent for them.
8 goals more than Hunt a season. I've always rated Billy, lets hope he can kick start his career with us. He likes the ball on the deck and I think he will link up well with Smith, cant really comment on the new boys as I know little about them
Him and Smith would definitely work well together. Just please please please 2 from Sharp, Smith and Doukara. At no point should Hunt be included in any permutations.
On the subject of wingers, Ajose can fill that role, as can Poleon. But what I think we need is a change of formation. If Hock were to go to 352 & use Byram & the LB out wide funnelling back if we're uder pressure, that might work. Alternatively, playing 3 up front with Ajose or Poleon out wide is another option. This is why I think we now need a period of stability and for the Hock to be given time to work out our best formation. One thing is for certain though, Hunt definitely doesn't have a role to play in the 16 to start/sit on the bench. On Morison, he has plenty to do to convince any of us he's worth a place ahead of Poleon, Sharp, Ajose, Smith or Doukara to be part of the 16. Whatever happens, although it will take time for us to get a settled side, I think we are in the best place we've been for years.
you mean given away surely. Final year of his contract, although I understand he is discussing improved terms on a new deal.
