Imo we need another striker to reduce the pressure on Austin, and to give a bit more competition. So how about Billy Sharp. Not involved for Southampton at the moment, and was on loan to Forest last season. 27 years old, and his scoring record:

I'd be happy with Billy Sharp, very comfortable at this level and would chip in with goals. No doubt about that.
