Not seen anything but following the signing of SOD as manager it makes me wonder whether he might try and bring goal scoring machine Billy Sharp to the club as he is a striker SOD likes and has had him him at both Doncaster and loaned him in at Forest. Sharp has played 88 games for SOD and has scored 40 goals and 20 assists. Given the number of strikers at Southampton I cant believe sharp is in their plans.

Cant imagine there would be many fans in teh championship who would say no to having Sharp.

SOD has a lot of work to do in the transfer market and we all know that his first tast will be to see players leave before he can buy, to do enough business this month to get to the end of the season before likely he will have a clear out.

He is a manger who has usually played 4-4-2 and currently with Albert away we only have Anderson as our only natural winger, as Pearson plays best centrally (when he plays well) and Bryan has shown his best position is at full back.

Don't think sharp will come here, Its also not a position that needs strengthening, Mind you I wouldn't say no if the situation were to arise but id rather see 3 defenders come in, That's being a RB and 2 CB's

For the first time in years I think we have a sensible balance upfront now, don't need to mess with that.

Like Shiny said we need a decent RB and at least 2 CB's. Besides Cunningham, theres not much in our defence I would keep really.

What none of our underrated underachieving mighty marvels at the back? I would keep Skuse and play him at RB or RWB and I still don't know WHAT HAPPENED TO DANNY WILSON?

Dont know about right back (with Scuze in reserve), but I would definitely bring in a defensive midfielder in the Cisse/Gow mould. Elliott doesnt fit the bill really

I know we have good strikers here but, if Billy Sharp was offered I would take it, imagin Baldock and Sharp with Davies playing in the attacking midfield role?

If Stead does leave then Sharp would be a good replacement. Different types of striker I know, but Taylor is quite similar in his work rate to Stead, whereas Sharp has real pace to trouble defence's something that is always a prized asset in any team.
