You never know - someone might put in a bid before then and its accepted with personal terms .......maybe after yesterday Barmbys on the phone right now? lol

I hope he's on the phone with someone! we desperately need somebody, if only to appease the fans and generate a bit of "feelgood factor". We should beat Donny, but then we should have beaten Crawley. Danger is in losing direction now. And our problem, all season, and for some while before has been scoring goals. No matter how good your defence, you are going to concede occasionally, and you'll never win without scoring. All those one nil losses could have been two - one wins!

Frankly we've looked weak in attack since Campbell/Windass.

What happened to that Negredo bloke?

Did anyone else notice Campbell scored for the Mackems today?

Didn't Billy Sharp say that he was in "no rush" to sign for anyone this transfer window whilst Barmby said he was in "no rush" to sign anyone in the window? Plus, last January we signed Matty Fryatt on the day of the Leicester game at home... a similar situation perhaps? In a dream world those signs all point to him signing; but realistically, after Saturday's shambles we need A goalscorer, Sharp or otherwise. Doncaster away wasn't as easy as people (including me) thought; but if we really go for it we should had enough, here's hoping.

I was thinking the same thing about omens. I remember Caleb folan scoring for Wigan against us, then signing him days later. Wonder if Tubbs impressed enough....

According to NB he mention Harper and Adebola could be moving on.. we brought in Adebola in to give us a plan b and that hasn't changed, its just that Dele isn't up to it at this level. A Darius Henderson Jason Roberts (gone to Reading now) type is whats required.

17 games in three months with seven midweek games now that Cardiff and Brighton will have to be rearranged is a big ask. We need to freshen up the forward line in order that we don't miss out on the playoffs.

I was worried about Tubbs before Saturday; I had a fiver on City to win 2-1 with Tubbs scoring (that went balls up); he's too good for the league he's in. However, is this the same as Adam LeFondre? Someone we didn't think was good enough because he wasn't proven in the league. As much as I like Barmby because he's passionate about the club; he needs a kick up the backside to realise we need someone who scores goal, not a Man Utd loanee again. Getting sick of Warren Joyce in the paper saying about how much ability someone has and how bigger prospect they are... get someone who shows they can score goals! Sheffield Weds picked one up; Ryan Lowe. There MUST be someone!
