He is avalible in Jan for 3M. Would you take him? I would, he has already had a good partnership with Jermaine Beckford from when they was at Scunthorpe

I wouldn't like to see him replace Nugent, he is the only forward that has performed so far this season.

Im not saying he will replace Nugent. Its gives us more options to go 433 or to rotate the striker until someone nails down a shirt

Beckford, Nugent, Waghorn, Howard and Sharp is good enough to get us up

At £3m hes worth a punt, but not because he scored against us, on that principle we should also get Maynard in January.

I don't think there would be room for Howard/Waghorn/Schlupp if we did get another striker though.

Debateble Proud Fox - However its the 3 or 4 behind in midfield where the problem is, they are barely good enough to keep us in this League.

If we can afford him then why not? He's a class act in this league and has shown that (despite not having a good midfield behind him) he can produce.

We still need two wingers and a playmaker if we want to pull up some trees in April.

He would be a good signing for that, and it's not just because he scored passed us, he's got 9 league goals for a poor side, at least two or three of which have been absolute belters. Plus he seems to do well every season.

But I also agree with Jock that the midfield is our priority. Although you can't blame them for the endless misses by Beckford.

Kebe/Zaha and Whittingham would be a dream for me <ok> great examples of wingers in this league who can cross the ball so well. Worth asking for their prices in January anyway.

Sharp is a brilliant striker but do you really need another?

I thought Beckford and Nugent had the finishing of Jesus? I'm not having a dig I just don't see why you need another striker, especially how highly you lot rate Waghorn and Schlupp(sp?).

Billy would be better placed coming to Hull. He would only have to move down the road (if at all) and we have the perfect midfield for him to score from.

Nugent is quality but Beckford is misfiring. He probably needs the pressure taking off him, and the signing of Sharp will do this whilst adding some healthy competition. Schlupp is too inexperienced and needs to go out on loan. I think Waggy's quality first season with us is beginning to look more and more like a one-off.

You can never have enough strikers

Loan Schlupp out, leave Howard as last resort.

I would go for Peter Whittingham aswell and a pacy winger to play down the right. Giving us Gallagher, Dyer, Whittingham and a quick winger. That would be class

And someone like Mark Davies albeit he wont come and Nigel probaly hasnt forgiven him from before

Well lets put it this way.

We're 2-1 down and we need an extra striker.

Do you bring on a 35 year old who cant run (Howard) or an 18 year old with no experience (Schlupp)

Having a class striker in either Nuge, Becks or Sharp won't hurt at all.

You might want to remove Beckford from that list of class strikers (at least for a couple of months)

    No thanks.

Granted we hardly saw him but he's no better than Fryatt or McLean. Anyway it won't be an issue, there's more chance of us bidding for Tevez than Waghorn. He was a Nigel player not a Hull player.

    Why?

He's looked razor sharp and would have had at least 3/4 more goals in the past month if it wasn't for the thickness of the post or stunning goalkeeping.

When we can supply him he'll be unstoppable.
