Very popular over on OTIB http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/150070-billy-davies I would love him here,no messing proper championship mananger.
Jeez, whinging idiot who slagged off all of his former employers despite the millions they gave him to spend, I don't think he'll ever get a job again If you think some of our fans are bad, Davies would outclass them, no problem...
Someone on Facebook said that he had heard it on the radio after the game, McInnes is travelling to jersey or where ever he lives for talks
Davies, Keane, Coyle would love any of these managers Or someone like Karl robinson.. ****, lets bring back benny lennartson
Dear god no not Billy ****ing Davies , he'd want loads of money from good old Steve Lansdown for transfer and won't get diddly squat and would probably throw a little tantrum
Shiny, SL was sat in the ground today so I doubt Derek would have to go to Guernsey when they have most likely had a long conversation this evening. On the speculation, DM is stil labout but if SL did activate the ejector seat... Di Canio - Oh God, if only but I don't see him leaving Swindon to come to us, he will want to finish the job he started there and I expect them to be promoted this year... Billy Davies - God no.... Owen Coyle - interesting one, someone suggested DM got him in to help turn it around. Paulo Sousa - great player but I wouldn't have him as our manager if he was the last person on earth. I get to watch his current team live most weeks and he would turn us into the most boring team in the universe...
Di Canio would be interesting. once took a player off and went down to 10 men because he wasnt happy with his player's performance. Owen Coyle is just a like for like of Del and if they are close friends would he want to come to city. Billy Davies - couldnt think of a worse choice. Dariusz Dziekanowski !!! was reported to have applied for the job when Del got it. previous management experience as Poland national assistant to Leo Beenhakkert. Karl Robinson has done well a MK Dons Aidy Boothroyd previous experience at this level or an oversea manager, hopefully Brazilian who will bring some technical gifted players with him.
Di Canio would be great, but risky, only because he could blow at anytime and leave us in the dire.....would it be worth the gamble? I'm undecided. We need someone that an come in long term, with good ideas and experience, even if we do go down. And I know that was the intention regarding Del, we will never come back up. (with him) I know the two I'd really like to be in contention, ambitious I know..lol Glen Hoddle or Curbs......come on SL, get ya money out.!!
Got to say I agree with most regarding Billy Davies, there's a reason why he's been out of a job since Forest. Di Canio has not walked out on Swindon but to be fair what can we offer him more than them at the moment apart from a guaranteed 6 months in the Championship. Swindon also have a rich owner. Curbs has turned us down a few times wants Premiership but also why if he is so good been out of work for so long? Hoddle has proven he will drop down the leagues but again been out of work for so long. Not saying I want Del out would prefer to keep him and bring in a DOF he needs help. But who ever we bring in we will be playing for salvation get it, and not push on. If he goes we need to get stability not being in the same boat next year because the centre of midfield and defence dont get looked at. I blame the board give the managmenen backing with the problem, don't agree with this bollocks that Del only wanted forwards he stated time and time again he wanted a RCB but what happens 4 lined up 4 turned us down. Buzsacky lined up but would rather not play then chooses Portsmouth on loan no disrespect to Portsmouth just pubilicaly known to have no money.
ROD basically what you are saying is Del is not good enough if you want a DOF. These two are being paid a small fortune to manage BCFC, oh and Docs comments about not being concerned about scoring goals what is that all about. Sorry these two have lost it big time,I'm surprised a announcement has not already been made. Yesterday was as bad as any of Millens or GJs later time with us.
Yesterday was terrible. We probably knew before the game we were beat but confirmed when the utterly useless Woolford couldn't score from 7 yards. Early this season we played most of our football on the ground. The last 6 weeks it's been played 40 feet in the air. It's football from the dark ages. As for a new manager, forget it - remember how long it took to get rid of Millen. We're down.
I would then blame SL and the board if this was to happen, they have time to save our championship status, xmas we will be to far away to save it. All the talk about ambition and fancy stadiums, there would be no need of it in league 1 playing in front of 9000 fans.
