I wonder how many of them will come out now and say he was a great Chairman etc..

 

Really did his best found a good buyer and faced the fans but unfortunately they hated on him.

 

They're in mourning as a club, a truly sad day for Evertonians.

Whilst I get your point and there's going to be a lot of Evertonians backtracking, I would look up about Joe Anderson before quoting the guy, he's an untrustworthy and disliked man by most of Liverpool (all factions) and his words don't mean anything. I'll happily go into more detail but I wouldn't quote him on the Liverpool or Everton boards and expect anything other than people asking why you'd use him as a reference

 

Joe Anderson is a fat politician **** and they're generally unpopular

But he's absolutely bang on the money when it comes to this.

 

Joe Anderson stole money from the Liverpool Council and gave building contracts to his son (who was not in the trade) to fix fly-overs which have been taken down and left in disrepair. He stepped aside from his role as mayor after being arrested on charges of fraud and tampering with witnesses. It goes quite a bit beyond unpopular tbh.

Unfortunately for her the new mayor is called... Joanne Anderson (no relation) and likes to be called Jo.
