How good is holtby, because in all honesty he didn't impress me that much in both games and i'm not sure if we are actually interested in him.

I trust bild they've been right several times in the near past with regards to pod Sigurdsson and Sahin. This makes me feel interest is genuine though I haven't seen much of him tbh.
Wasn't it Bild who were reporting that Sahin was certain to go to Arsenal ? I'm pretty certain that Bild is the German equivelant of the scabrag Sun & the Star.
Everyone thought he was he was in negotiations with us, until Real Jacked up the terms and we pulled out.
Can't say he impressed me much. Even in the second game, he did nothing that particularly caught my eye to be honest. After those games, how many of us talked about Holtby and how we should get him? Can't recall anyone doing it to be honest.
I agree with this, didn't really see him do much against us in both legs which is saying something as we looked crap in both. Shame we seem to have missed out Huntelaar, but I reckon the focus will be on a striker come January tbh.
Big fan of both players. Holtby is a massive talent - I would be very happy if we signed him. However I dont think he's the signing we NEED. I think a Centreforward should be our priority. Huntelaar would be a great signing.
Didn't he set up both goals? The volleyed through ball to Huntelaar and for the second, his header took the ball away from Vermaelen and into the path of Farfan. That's more productive than half of our squad.
In an interview today fellaini said that he wants to play in the champs league and made it clear that he'd want to be there with everton or another team. Obviously a number of things need to happen but he could be a potential target in the summer, very very good player.
I was saying to get him in the summer, we needed to buy a CM and a striker post song and RVP but as usual we just didnt.
Nah they are still in financial stairts I recon we could have got him for 15mn (and at 24? even 20mn would not have been a terrible price).
