Whether to Coventry or another team it would be a good move for all parties. Sammy should be loaned out also as I think he could do with toughening up a wee bit.

Former Coventry City midfielder Gael Bigirimana could be heading back to the Sky Blues.

According to the Journal , Newcastle United are looking to loan out the 20-year-old so he can taste regular first-team football again.

Bigirimana signed for the Toon in 2012 after an impressive debut season for City that earned him the Championship's Apprentice of the Year Award.

He made 25 appearances for the Premier League giants during the last campaign and scored his only senior goal of his career so far against Wigan.

However, the Burundi-born England Under-20 international has seen little action so far this season.

Needs a loan. I like him but his game is not there yet. More than anything his understanding of how to manage a game from midfield and knowing when to pass, when to make runs, when to hold position is somewhat lacking.

Agree, I think he can turn out to be real good but there are very few players his age that can, at this level boss that sort of slightly deeper CM role he plays.

He will benefit more if he gets regular game time in the Championship, than playing week-in week-out at a League 1 club.

He's got a good game in him, I'd have thought he'd be encouraged a bit more to bring the best out of him.

However if he isn't going to get the game time with us, it's best that he goes out on lone to get the playing time.

Better for him and better for us.

I agree with loaning him out but please make sure it's a Championship side and not leagues below. We need him to get game time against seasoned pro's fighting to get in/back to the Premier League.

I would prefer him to go to someone like Palace.

Palace are as near as you can get to a Championship side.
