Basically a thread to settle an argument at work.. Have a Gooner mate who reckons arsenal players don't dive.. It's is obviously a part of the game now (wrongly) but I thought if gauge the opinion of proper fans as I'm in the minority down south. So who do you guys think are the worst culprits.. Ashley young (of late) Drogba ????
They all do it to a degree. On another point, i hate it when commentators bleat on about how disgusting it is but then will say if he'd have gone down there he would have got a pen. Make up your mind which one you want. Also did anyone else here the sky bloke throw his toys out the pram when Alan Smith said he though Ashley Young had dived... "Well he didn't learn that here, perhaps this is Villa's own tactics coming back to haunt them." Hahahahah way to stay impartial you plastic Manc git.

Ashley Young is a disgrace, I'll give you all that. I can't stand him and by no means is he good enough for United never mind fit to wear Scholes' old 18 shirt. Can we just all mutually agree though that the worst player in this league is Luis Suarez? Please.
I think Jonas is the most accomplished diver. At times you can't even tell he's that good. You're gonna struggle to beat the south americans on this front, they are actually taught how to do it properly as part of their footballing education. Young is pretty amateurish but seems to win his fair share of free kicks and pens. Basically they're all at it and every team has them. Arsenal fans are talking **** if they believe that. Sure Wenger is quite strongly against it, but RVP, Arteta, Rosicky all like a tumble and roll. I always laugh when opposing supporters get so up in arms about it, but when its one of their own the blind eye comes out to play. Until there is a significant shift in the rules you're better off just accepting that it goes on.
I agree Guterrez dives more than anyone else would love to see him get a real hard tackle just to actually see him on the bottom for a reason for once.
Doing his bit over on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football, Gary Neville absolutely did the business last night – delivering a passionate, eloquent sermon on the ‘diving epidemic’ that is so entrenched in the modern game. You may not agree with all of the Neviller’s sentiments (for instance, we’d argue that the fact that it’s a widespread practice doesn’t necessarily make it a forgiveable practice), but you can’t argue with the quality and delivery of his analysis. Sky really are getting their money’s worth out of him in his debut season… Well worth a listen.
Jonas is the best at winning free kicks I've ever seen. He is a master of getting himself fouled but never seems to go down without atleast a little contact. Don't think he's ever been booked for diving. Defo does it like, but Larsson is the worst for me.
