The Blackburn defender is interested in a move to QPR who have also expressed interest in his team mates Junior Hoilett and Yakubu. Tottenham also remain keen on Samba and Hoilett but at the right price. Manager Steve Kean said: 'There was a meeting with Junior's father last week. 'It depends what theWe know what type of compensation has been there before when Daniel Sturridge saw out his contract and went from Man City to Chelsea, and you have to weigh that up.' If we could get Yak, Samba and Hoillett, then I'd almost say that our transfer dealings could be left at that - although I'd like to get either Ridgewell on a permanent or Onhoua on loan with the option to buy.
I really hope we are not tantalised with these names and then end up with bargain basement journeymen. I suppose the evidence of intent from signing Barton, SWP etc is that will not happen - please!!
I hope this is not another Scott Parker? We offer under the price and Spurs come in with a realistic offer and get their man. Same as AJ, it seems Foolham have rejected our offer as has Blackburn with Yakubo. Don't want to sound negitive but we need to pay the dosh and seal deals fast or it will be another last day dash. Take Swans they have done a top bit of business with getting that 'Sig' bloke that was good at Reading and went to Germany. Top player and get him on loan. We really need to step up or it will end in tears.
The blackburn site is saying samba not for sale IMHO i dont think we will get him just need to move on.
Samba may just be a 'decoy' whilst we pursue others. Alex should be wrapped up as he wants to come to us and would be a cut above what we have...
its all in the lap of the gods!..We have absolutely no control over what will happen!. Didnt we fail on Belamy and Crouch bid at last minute?.Fingers crossed
Super - as far as Blackburn go, it's not in the laps of the gods, more the bankers (and yep that's not a typo regarding our "beloved financial organisations")
Blackburn are skint as are the new owners. They will sell Samba but i think Spurs will do the same as Parker and TBH us or Spurs?
Spurs could still nip in and hi-jack Cahill, that would be to our and their advantage, especially as it would f*ck Chelsea...
How exactly will Cahill fit into Chelsea? His family have a clean history, no criminal convictions, not racist, and he kicks the ball rather than oppontents, or take their legs away?
