Cant believe the next game is nearly 2 weeks away but....

With Chelsea and Spurs playing tough local away derbies we need another win to realistically think about making the ECL. Stoke have only won 1 of their last 6 games from stats I can find and must be worried about coming to St James' Park in 11 days time. We could be could be welcoming back Cheick Tiote and Danny Guthrie back to the squad along with Vuckic and Obertan and I think a 433 could be on the cards again against Stoke with us bringing back Tiote for what will be a very physical encounter if he's fit. Tough game but i think we can win it at home.

Chelsea have Arsenal and I for one will be cheering Arsenal to beat Chelsea as they will be to far away to catch if they beat Wigan in their game in hand, so we don't really need to worry about them. Spurs have QPR away and this could be a tough game for them having only won 1 of their last 6 This one could easily be a draw. If so it would leave us 3 points clear of Spurs and 5 of Chelsea if we win.

Wouldn't like to guess the result but the way things have been going recently we will win 2-0 and Chelsea and Tottenham will both slip up, SOOOOO hyped for the next game, the next round of fixtures and if things keep going our way the Chelsea game which could be the biggest game at the club since Villa nearly 3 years ago.

the big game for us is Everton versus the Bin Dippers

as much as Moyes & the Toffees deserve to win it, if they lose - we're guarranteed Europe.

Massive. This two weeks has come at just the right time. We'll freshen up and hit Stoke hard at full strength bar those out for the season. I have played it down all season, but only a fool would think that all options aren't open to us now. We're playing well enough to get results from all the remaining fixtures. Unlikely of course but who knows.

The problem we have is effectively we're an extra point behind cos our goal difference is so much worse (+5 and +17 or something like that)

Indeed, I would prefer Chelsea to drop two more because the goal difference could be crucial at the end of the season.

I don't think it will come down to goal difference to be honest, it rarely ever does. I'm confident we will finish above Chelsea now, two points ahead and we've got an easier run in. Even if we lose at Stamford Bridge Chelsea have got games away to Liverpool and Arsenal, and i think they will lose both of those.

Tottenham have got a nice run-in but they've been dropping points all over the shop. I'm not sure the break is good for us, it will make us stronger but it will allow tottenham time to regroup, which wont benefit us at all.

I'm not as confident as everyone else.

We've been picking up results but playing quite poorly at times.

Everton are huge favourites to beat the Bin dippers, and get into Europe, meaning 5th or better required from us.

Chelsea will be fighting for a European place (I can't see them winning Champs League or FA Cup) and even though they have been lucky, the simple matter is they are a very good team.

    We won't catch Arsenal.

I actually reckon it might come down to us and Spurs battling for 5th place.

Ameobi's Zeppelin - Liverpool are favourites vs Everton officially.

Liverpool are a cup side, let's not forget that Liverpool have eliminated Manchester United and Manchester City from cup competitions already this season. Looking at their pathetic manager and team, I can't for the life of me figure out exactly why they do it, but they do. They are a cup side, and as much as I don't rate them for me, they're favourites to win the FA Cup, not just the Semi vs Everton.

Chelsea vs Spurs is a coin toss, from a Toon perspective, you want Spurs to win and Chelsea to do well against Barcelona. That way, both teams are still focusing on two competitions.

Get ready to be robbed at Stamford Bridge by a ridiculous decision, which will ultimately cost you your CL place...that's just how Chelsea roll.

I genuinely think Tottenham are the team who will finish best, Chelsea have alot of other things going on, are two points behind and have the hardest run-in. If it was a straight play-off between the three teams then yeah my money would be on Chelsea, but its not :)
