Big transfer fees

We're only 3 days in to the window and it seems like there are some big fees getting thrown around for players. I knew this tv deal was big but even the lesser prem clubs are paying £8m upwards on 1 player. Mad! Enjoyable all the same. Especially as I'm stuck in Spain for a month with only my iPhone as I've been hit by a car! UTT

Cardiff are going crazy and Palace look like they are saving the money. We seem to be taking the sensible middle ground but I wish we would spend the extra £500k on our major targets. A lot of other clubs are trying to be like a mini-Man City.

 

Thanks Columbus. Yes there are. It'll be better once I can move around a bit as I'm still pretty bashed up.

I think we've got value for money so far. But even Swansea £5m for shelvey seems a lot to me. I wonder if the British transfer record will get broken? I think it'll be the biggest spending summer yet.

 

Except for the potential £8.5m it could cost them for Dwight Gayle!

 

I thought it was 4.5m for gayle?

 

That's what they paid up front for him, but the rest is in add ons, monthly installments etc.
