I know our interest in Charlie Adam seems to have waned somewhat since Villa and Liverpool started getting involved, however do you really think this lad is good enough to play for a top 4 club (or Liverpool)? Yes he can ping the ball around and take a decent corner but he needs to be the complete package with a decent engine to play Champions league doesnt he? For me he is a bit of a luxury player and would be fine alongside someone like Catts. In our 35 second review on MOTD Hansen did show him failing to track back with Kieran. I would take him, but 10m and top 4, Im not so sure.
I think he is a very good footballer but 12 mil, I think he will be staying at Blackppol if they want that.
Canny footballer, whether he could cut it week in week out for a top team is debatable. He looked pretty tired last night and I didn't like his attitude, little digs and leaving his foot in.
