What does everyone think about the big screens installed at the ground? I reckon they'll be quite good, and according to the website these are only temporary until they fit slightly bigger ones permanently into the structure of the stadium in the summer...how many other clubs are doing exciting things like this for their supporters these days? Cheers Top! http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2334634,00.html
Only temporary? Seems a bit of a waste of their money, I don't think people are that desperate for them that they can't wait til the summer! Still I'm looking forward to seeing them
It wouldn't surprise me if the company couldn't install them permanently within the timeframe lcfc wanted, so offered temporary ones until the end of the season. Lets face it this will be a big contract for them so they'd pull out all the stops to get it...wonder how different they'll look in the summer.
I wasn't there but my mate who stewards for us said the goals were being played 10 seconds after they went in...pretty good stuff, looking forward to my next trip down to Leicester!
Teles was good. They showed replays and other stuff. There was a few technical problems but got better Normal scoreboards was turned off think they were great but i think they blocked the fosse boys view as they move forward a few rows
Smaller than I thought but as the link says they are getting bigger ones. Blocked some fans views so that will have to be adresssed. I didn't like the fact that the old boards were turned off, just looked silly. Goal replays and some highlights were great! Loved how goalkicks and corners were sponsored haha! The half time should have been shown on screen and before the gamee it could have had a bit more on them. Succcess though.
I'd like them to do score updates from other games. In fact that should be there main function. They are moving them to the ends in the summer I think
It wouldnt be good for the players if scores keep flashing up on the tv. The majority of the fans can easily find out scores on phones so we dont need that. Overall i think the tv's are great, i sit in SK2 and have a great view of each tele while i think the Fosse boys cant see. The club getting their own back. But that will have to be sorted but the club will say if they sit down they will be fine
The screens were great, and a lot clearer than I expected. Bit annoying that every aspect of the game was sponsored by someone... corners, freekicks, substitutions! Talking to one of the stewards before the game though, apparently they've lost a fair few seats behind the screens, and also one had to be a bit smaller as they couldn't see from the director's box!
