Been on breakfast tv this morning and doing book signings this afternoon. Should he not be overseeing training three day's before the derby?
He.s given them 2 days off. Catts and O.Shea are leading them round the town on a pub crawl at this minute. Sadly they have mislaid AJ when they passed Mowbray park.
If the signings on an afternoon training will probs be finished. Most teams only do 3-4 hours on a morning.
Why should he have to take training in the afternoon? its not like being a footballer is a 9 to 5 job. For me, yes he should until the shower of ****e start winning games and earning privileges like early finishes etc. Up until that time, make the ****ers work for their over inflated salaries.
FFS why is everyone getting uptight about sam being on tv. Don't all managers do meetings or wotever during their working day. They are not hands on every minute of the day
While i will agree with you There was thr small point SA said. I will be there ay 8am and wont leave until 11. Until i feel confident the players undetstand.
No fella, usually morning or an afternoon. The fact he wasn't available for either session concerns me. I know he's contractually obligated, this is one of things a mentioned concerns about when we hired him. Didn't think he'd be unavailable for days in Derby week though It's just not ideal.
I didn't see the interview Funky. I'm guessing it was round 8-ish. Was it in the London studio? If so, then yep, why is he 250 miles away from the morning training shift?
So, to be fair, he could be out the door and back in the north-east by 10:30/11:00-ish. They might have been in the gym on light training this morning with the coaches. We don't know how their training is programmed.
