When he was originally appointed I said at the time that he would take Sunderland down as they were such a shambles. After recent weeks, albeit ably helped by McClarens inept ability to effectively manage a football team, I feel he may just keep Sunderland up.

Villa, Norwich and Newcastle for me!

Still some work to do, but credit were credits due

I agree, the centre back pairing of Brown and O'shea made me think that he would struggle to get them out of it. But with Defoe, they have a chance of scoring which always gives you a chance. They are still ****e, but the other 3 a ****er!!!

Villa, Norwich & whoever wins the HAWAY derby in a couple of weeks.

The games when Norwich, Newcastle and Sunderland play each other will determine who goes down.

At the moment Sunderland look like finishing 17th. 2 from 3 only now to join Aston Villa in the championship.
