    Im very surprised at the amount of media and people connected with football who think we will stay up

    Confident of a good result in this one. Probably because we haven't played for a couple of weeks and as they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Not that I could love City any more, just reality had started to kick in.

    Is it just me, or does he not actually say anywhere in the article, bar the headline, that he thinks we'll stay up? We'll have to beat his team to have any chance, for one thing!

    Note: "he said".

    Nowhere in the article does it include a direct quote, from Allardyce, backing you to avoid relegation.
