Wycombe play host to 13th placed Dagenham & Redbridge this Saturday looking to continue a run of form that has seen them only lose twice in their past 10 games. Wycombe sit below the visitors in 17th place but a win could see them jump up to 15th if results go their way. That's if the predicted snow doesn't postpone the game.
The Blues will be without long-term absences Danny Foster (6 weeks, shoulder injury), Gary Doherty ( 6 weeks, back injury) , Matt Bloomfield (2 months, pelvic shear) and Grant Basey (Out for the season, knee ligaments).

    Last Meeting:

The last meeting between the two sides came in late September, as Wycombe slipped to a 3-0 defeat in Gareth Ainsworth’s first game in charge as caretaker manager.
The Daggers took the lead in the 25th minute through Dwight Gayle’s close-range finish and despite a display full of passion and commitment from the Blues, they struggled in the final third.A controversial Michael Spillane penalty made it 2-0 in the 55th minute before Billy Bingham wrapped up the points two minutes from time.
However the Blues have come a long way since this game and the fixture on Saturday will be a chance for Wycombe to show just how far they have come.

Team Line up from the Wanderers:

Archer, Foster, Doherty, Johnson, Dunne, Scowen, Spring, Lewis, Kuffour (Morias, 72), Taylor (McClure, 46), Morgan (Grant 68 )
Subs not used: Harrison, Winfield, Kewley-Graham, Stewart

Just been down to help clear the snow at Adams Park. Pitch looks good just like it had taken a lot of rain rather than looking frozen.

On my way back down there in a bit. Hopefully 3 points!

Well done Blues. One anxious moment near the end, otherwise sounded like a professional (rather than exciting) performance.

Just 6 points off the play offs and only 4 points from 8th place.

Just got back from the game, the shovelling this morning was worth the effort!

Not a vintage display but some good football first half with Dunne, Scowen, Lewis and Wood all looking lively. Not many clear cut opportunities to speak of but the goal was a good move between Grant and Kuffour before rolling the ball into Wood's path for him to drive low and into the corner.

Second half saw even fewer chances but we rarely looked in danger with only one notable chance for Dagenham when a corner dropped in the box and Archer made a great instinctive save to push wide.

Morgan looked out of sorts again, spending most of his time worrying about being fouled and stopping rather than going for the second ball. Had a couple of opportunities run at the defence and get a shot away in the second half but looked short of confidence and never got his show away.

Overall thought MOM was between Dunne, Harriman and Wood but it went to Lewis who did still play well. Solid if not spectacular performance and I think a very good result as the majority of games were called off. The more other games are called off the more of a fixture backlog other teams get, whereas we got points on the board. I certainly don't expect us to get in the play offs ( I am more than happy with mid table) but winning on days like this can help massively. Hopefully we will also being playing Bradford next week at the best time, just after their semi final!

Also a shout to Gaz, he came out this morning to thank us all for helping clear the snow and the guy is such a passionate man. Puts his all into everything, even just a little speech to thank us! Thoroughly deserves any success he has.

Little things like that mean so much, not just to those who he thanked but to people like me also. Just shows the kind of bloke he is. I'm so glad he got the job. He was on TV last night (I think) - I watched the whole program. A good ambassador for the club.

a very professional performance today, glad to see 3 points again in a game dagenham never really caused a threat

special mentions must got to wood, dunne and lewis today all of which i thought were superb! it was a good performance from 10 players, 1 i though was poor and lazy (see if you can guess who!)

incidently, did anyone see what happened with morgan and thier manager at full time?

Saw Still having a go at Morgan when he went off. Think it was all to do with Morgan not kicking the ball back to the keeper and unsportingly booting it to the corner meaning they were boxed in in the corner.

Pretty poor on Morgans part really.

    Cheers Rocky!

Great effort from fans today to clear the snow, I enjoyed the talk from Gareth Ainsworth when he arrived - real connection between him & supporters!

Another 3 points and 6 points from the play-offs, we could only dream a few months ago of being in this position!
