Nice one Reb. I remember it happening in passing but dropping my guard for a moment, my papá also died of a heart attack in October 1985 at a relatively young age which overshadowed everything else at that time so obviously the great Jock Stein's passing didn't register as much as it may have otherwise. I've never looked into it but have the impression that he never really got the credit he deserved from our club for his achievements until after his death ... but then again I suppose that could be said about everything and anyone not being really appreciated until they are no longer with us.
