QPR have scheduled a press conference to make a major announcement they believe can turn the club into a "global brand". There are suggestions Monday's press conference could be about a move to a new stadium. Chairman Tony Fernandes has revealed the club are looking at three potential sites for a new ground. The signing of Park is also expected to be announced. On Friday Fernandes posted on his Twitter account: "Excellent stadium meeting. Wow. Looks great. Going to make big announcement. "Stadium will be in west London. Will not lose overall atmosphere. Lots to do and many pitfalls but great first step."
Liverpool have signed Rob Hulse in a straight swap deal for Andy Carroll plus £5 mill..................
Concrete? I was hoping it would be a steel stadium. As i said earlier, a stadium doesnt make sense when TF talked about a global brand, that can only mean Park.
Samba would get plenty of adulation at LR if he did come, just as Danny Sh*ttu did, and Samba's a better player - and from his own personal point of view, I wonder if he'd be that happy going back to Russia at the end of the loan period...but I'm running too far ahead now
Thanks, Dave. Been impressed with him for your club over the years. Still plenty of professional life left in him, I think
